Our story

Artful Home Care isn’t just a home care agency — it is a way of life.

Bridging elder care and wellness.

Established by Beth McNeill-Muhs in 2013, Artful Home Care believes that with age comes value. We create a stimulating, engaging living environment within the comforts of home.

We offer personal care services, creative arts programs, and organized group activities. Individualized creative care plans promote successful aging and whole-life wellness.

Art, music, and wellness round out the approach. Organizations such as RX Art bring art into medical settings to transform patient experience; neuroscience shows music can trigger memory. A whole-life approach creates wellbeing in mind and body.

Beth began Artful Home Care under the guidance of Clinical Director Eileen Torraca, RN, who has over 35 years of experience as a geriatric care manager.

Beth McNeill-Muhs

Owner & Director

Beth has been an active member of the East End community since 1998. After graduating from Long Island University in Southampton, she worked with some of the Hamptons’ most prominent living artists and built affiliations with leading creative arts organizations — including Guild Hall Museum, Parrish Art Museum, Watermill Center, and more.

After years in fine art, Beth came to see art as a tool for healing — and as a way to engage the mind and transform how we live and think. That insight became Artful Home Care.
